From: Don Rice

A little bit of an odd request here. For 40-plus years I accumulated a small cache of about 40 license plates, mostly Massachusetts, dating back to 1936. For those 40-plus years, they remained stashed in a box that I carried move to move, awaiting their final destination. With my relocation to the Berkshires in Massachusetts last year, I believe I have reached my final destination, and therefore so have those license plates! Just this past weekend I finally dusted them off and adorned a wall of my man-cave garage. I like it so much, I'd like to fill up some of the remaining empty space with more plates!
:-)). I will happily do my best to generously hit your Want List in return, thus making this official OBC activity, as well as showing my appreciation. Even if I don't add a single license plate, this wall is certainly a garage-worthy work of art (in my somewhat skewed, aging, near-vision eyes, anyway). Thanks! Don

The "leader" right now is Mark Talbot, who has added a whopping 66 lists. Hockey is a major part of Mark's hobby, and I hope he doesn't mind me using him as an example. There are others who also very much love hockey, so I ask you all to come be a part. Meanwhile, if you've got a few hockey dupes, how fun would it be to actually be able to HIT MARK TALBOT for once? 2) I have less than fifty hockey cards but would LOVE a chance to give every last one of them away. So I'm looking first for guys working on the particular sets they're from. But perhaps I could entice a few more of you to come over, so I will say this: there is currently a WAIVER starter set listedon the Hocktober spreadsheet. Although I'm not sure if it'll make it any EASIER to find cards to send me. Don't worry, I didn't pick any prewar sets or something crazy obscure. I'm starting out with ZERO on all these, so there's hopefully a lot of low hanging fruit for you. The sets are:1961 Nu Card Scoops1963 Bazooka All Time Greats...aaand mixed sets of 1976 and 1977 Discs. I'm doing four sets from each year, so I don't care what brand is on the back, as long as it was issued as part of a 70 card(disc) set. Therefore, if you have any Dairy Isle, Isaly's, Red Barn, Safelon, Wendy's or a number of others, I can probably use them. Thanks for looking!
