He single handedly put a pounding on that set, and left me looking to add more vintage hoops to the collection. If I go back and look at my collecting habits, I usually start up with birth year sets. That's how I got back into collecting back in 1999, pulling 1972's from theKing of Commons. So, with hoops, I am going with the same philosophy. I've always like the 72/73 set simply because it has Dr J's rookie. Love thelook of the 71/72. And figuring why not add a tough to get rarely see, have also added the 71/72 Topps Trios stickers. > Any help is appreciated. Gary Peters, Chicago White Sox (creased; weakest kitten in the litter) 9. Rocky Colavito, KC A's 14. Tony Taylor, Philadelphia Phillies Poor unfortunates: 1956 Topps #76, Ray Crone, Milwaukee Braves -- heavily creased, corners rounded and a big piece of top left corner missing -- image is bright, though, and you won't be too embarrassed to show this card to friends. 1955 Bowman #21, Don Hoak, Brooklyn Dodgers -- something or someone has nibbled top right edges. If you're familiar with mammalian dentistry you mightbe able to draw some interesting conclusions. Otherwise it's your basic off-grader. 1955 Bowman #210, Allie Reynolds, New York Yankees -- a real head-scratcher. Previous owner made a weak attempt at transforming this into a card of Ryne Duren, switching the names, erasing the eyes and then drawing cartoon glasses over the eyes. Artist initialed his work in pencil. A real OBC laugher. 1970 Topps Football #10, Bob Griese. Not a bad midgrade card except the very top edge is damaged and partly missing. A light coat of grime on the backindicates the card might have a lot to say if it could talk. ================= Date: Fri, 20 Mar 2015 03:41:53 +0000 (UTC) To: OBC-Wantlist@yahoogroups.com Subject: Non-Sport post - KISS want list From: talbot1@comcast.net Hello All, I recently posted the `78 Donruss KISS set and would like to see if I can make some head way.
