Mykeeper copy of the book is a vintage mass-market edition with lurid cover art so my hardcover reading copy in Tipton condition is up for grabs FCFS. Holler if you want it and pls include your mailing address. Also, does anyone have the movie on DVD for me to borrow? I promise to return it, and quickly. Finally got around to FEAR STRIKES OUT by Jimmy Piersall having gone to evilBay for a vtg reading copy. The movie is something of a punchline in baseball circles (as is Jimmy himself I suppose) so I was surprised at how honest and thoughtful the book was. As a bonus it was fun to read about Red Sox players I only know from still images -- Ted Lepcio, Mickey McDermott, and the like. I suppose the book was primarily the work of the writer Al Hirshberg (superb) and largely sanitized but the fact that he discussed his mental illness at all, and so publicly to boot, in 1955 shows a lot of courage. ================= To: Date: Thu, 6 Mar 2014 15:13:04 -0500 From: "Gord Ellis" Subject: '60T-62T extras Time for more trading?
