The website that I had to handle to hard work was accidentally deleted by someone who we will refer to as Ryan Retza to protect his identity! I want to get back up and running so until I can recreate the list I will do this by e-mail. I have quite a few more recent cards and instead of making a list I figured I could just check yours! So please let me know if you have alist for 1980 cards and want to participate! The basics of the box: 1) I can send up to 9 standard sized cards at a time (a couple fewer once we get into early 50's stuff). 2) You need to be able to send back cards from the same year or earlier--ifI have a list of available cards from a given year I would ask that you not send cards already in the box. 3) I will ask you to send your cards and an extra stamp. Since I am reallyjust exchanging dups instead of making my list smaller I can't afford to do this very long if I don't get a stamp. I don't expect a stamp if you aresending cards from my lists in a trade. 4) Please try to exchange stars for stars, high numbers for high numbers and approximate equal values. If we don't do this the box will soon be full of triple print cards that very few guys need and won't be of much value toanyone. I will try to keep adding cards to the box that I find to make itmore fun as well. Some FAQ Why can't I claim more than 9 cards? ___One of the basic concepts is that I know I can send 9 cards in an envelope for one stamp---I can much more easily send out one envelope than make atrip to the post office to send a larger mailing. It also lets multiple guys have a shot at the cards in the box instead of one guys getting them all. Why did the box start? ____The concept for a traveling dup box isn't mine. I participated in one where a massive box was mailed to each person on the list. It was expensive to mail and if you didn't want anything it was an expensive way to look at someone's dup box! I did this in order to keep postage costs lower and let everyone only have cards sent that they needed. So let me know if you would like to participate and have a posted 1980 listfor me to look at! I will put out an e-mail for earlier years and a list when I am able!
