I have been looking for one of these old SCD's that has vintage Football, Basketball and Hockey cards so i can identify the years the cards I have been winning on the bid board are There is a guy who puts FB cards on the bid board but just identifes them as "old FB card" and when I win cards on the board he puts up I don't know the year the card is from. Now that I have an SCD I can identify the cards. Also I wanted one of the old ones that had Football, Basketball and Hockey cards included. Now I can finally identify the year of some of these FB cards and can make them available. I have been winning FB cards from 1948 Bowmans to 51 topps magic to 50's Topps and Bowmans to 1960's topps, Fleers for 25 cents each on the bid board. Here is the first one up for grabs I got for 25 cents on the bid board. Please include name and address with e-mail requests. 1961 topps FB # 17- J.C. Caroline Chicago Bears. Funny when I got the book the store seller told me the book was basically worthless because it was from 1995 and the prices were not up to date and he told me people buy those SCD's to get card values. I wasn't about to go into an explanation I wanted the book for identification purposes to identify years of old cards I had. ================= Date: Sun, 14 Oct 2007 00:34:38 EDT To: Jazzgirl1920s@aol.com, OBC-Wantlist@yahoogroups.com From: ChicoD1@aol.com Subject: Re: [OBC-Wantlist] 61 topps FB available and i finally got an old SCD to iden... My early days of rooting for Jack Kemp, Golden Wheels Dubenion, and Cookie Gilchrist from the old AFL are coming home to roost. So I would like to collect Bills team sets only. Any caps will be graciously excepted and reciprocated-- Peter Mead
