I have added yet another set to the list 1964. With four more set in the horizon, I hope to have my qwest for all the Topps set up by early ext year. I have 66, 68, 69 75, & 75 left not counting variations, akthough I have a friend who is supposedly working on the latter two sets so I may by as whole. My hope for next year is to have the 1956 in hand be the start of the new year( only htree more installment payments left ) and with the Pete Rpse rookie card the only one left in 1963 are my first two to be worked on plus I have 1962 and 62 down to a manageable number. I'm happy to trade an extra back versionfor any of the 84 fronts I still need. Finally, I know that alot of the fronts I need are HOFers that you probablydon't want to just toss in the mail for a common or two. It took a little work since I want to get as many different types of cards as possible, so that's why you only see a few choices for a couple of main guys. For instance, Cepeda and Yaz were the only two guys in both the rare Topps Disc Proofs and the OPC Posters, so they have those two sets (one of each, depending on who I get first). That forced Gibson to be a Bazooka card, since Yaz was the only other one...you get the drift. Anyway, if anybody wants to hit my list, there is some low-hanging fruit on it as some of the guys just had easy Topps/OPC cards. Feel free to send comment on my project, I'd love to hear from you! Hello All, With Thanksgiving fast approaching I want to thank a number of traders for their generocity over the past year. All these people have hit my Topps baseball sets this year. Thanks to Bob Lent, Rob Church, Harold Ondernick, Bob Schaub, Larry Beil, Kevin Webster, Shawn Adkins, Mike Rich (3X), Bob Bannon (5X), Kerry McGinley, Mark Rhodes, Brock Hattox, John Scott Gray (2X), John Leroux, Frank Salerno, Anthony Arbeeny, Mike Fry (2X), Jason Ursaner, Steve Seiple, Andy Cook, John McLaughlin, Jim Wiehe, Bob Reed, Bob Farrell, Sean McGowan, Mike Sandals (as well as a whole lot of eBay buys) who have sent Topps items since late November of last year as I have been continuing my quest toward the Topps Baseball run from 1951 to 1980 (including variations). I now need only 728 Topps card thanks to all of your help. It was my intention to change my focus this past year and focus on closing some sets. I got close but finishing off sets was far more difficult than I expected so I am continuing to strive to complete the Topps run!!! The `65 Topps set WAS closed out this year and I am very close on a few others. I would still like some help closing out 1972 (3 cards left) and the 1954 set (5 BIG NAME cards left) - I'm so close on a few of these it would be great to close them out by the end of the year. I have not posted this list in a year, perhaps by posting it again it can generate some hits and spark some trades. Here is my updated posting of the Topps Baseball want list for those of you that would care to assist me - I will do my best to reciprocate. I have made the plunge to total insanity and I'm going to try the 1952-1980 Topps run !!! Not all of my collection is organized to the point that I can post lists oreven claim that I'm working on the set, but on this new web version you can find the ones I am working on. I even listed the 1952's that I swore I would not collect...and I only have about 5 cards!! Crazy fer sure !!! As you might recall, I just switched my email address (familytoad@charter.net) and I got Broadband. The webpage is designed for faster-type Internet connections as I have a fairly large image map at the beginning. Dial-up users, I could use some feedback as to whether the page loads quick enough to be viewed or whether I should mirror the page for slower connections. ( WebTVers chime in...I am curious) I even made some sense of my dupes box this afternoon, so I'll be able to send out some cards soon !!! OBC is the greatest !!! I realize not too many people's dups box are overflowing with these so I am more than willing to dig deep into my Playballs, Bowmans and even have a few T206's available to trade.
