Dad, Sarah, and I went to the home opener for the Omaha Royals tonight and enjoyed the game even though the O-Royals lost to the New Orlean's Zephyrs (Astros' AAA team) 7-1. Date: Thu, 1 May 2003 01:17:51 -0400 From: "Steve Rittenberg" Back in 1994, I bought several boxes of the Upper Deck All-Time Heroes set. I finished a bunch of sets. Finally this year (thanks to Jim Wiehe), I finished the parallel set. I went back to look at the cards and DOH!! I've given away ALL my complete sets. Maybe another one will turn up somewhere but I'm not optimistic. In the meantime, I need a whopping 59 cards (out of 225) to finish yet another set. I know the commons cost just 5 cents and that more will be spent on shipping than on the value of the cards. But unless I can find a full set for $5 at a show or a dealer who'll sell the commons at 5 cents each, I don't know what else to do.
