To: uvlist@yahoogroups.com From: cardclctor@aol.com Hi again everyone, I was looking at the Buckett.com website trying to find out some local show info (I need to do some last minute Xmas shopping). I stumbled upon this article while searching for the show calendar: "Topps has announced that 25 cards in 2003 Topps Baseball include a variation. The variation features the classic "Topps" logo, which includes the hooked letter "T" (see 1979 Topps), in place of today's Topps logo. But collectors are going to have search hard for these special short prints, because they are seeded 1 in 8,852 packs. The 25-card checklist, shown below by card number, includes: 1 Alex Rodriguez 10 Mark Prior 11 Curt Schilling 20 Todd Helton, 30 Jason Giambi 50 Sammy Sosa 61 Roger Clemens 73 Luis Gonzalez 77 Miguel Tejada 80 Ivan Rodriguez 90 Alfonso Soriano 100 Ichiro 130 Gary Sheffield 150 Kazuhisa Ishii 160 Pat Burrell 170 Vladimir Guerrero 177 Adam Dunn 180 Barry Zito 200 Albert Pujols 230 Lance Berkman 250 Nomar Garciaparra 300 Andy Marte 321 Walter Young 322 Marlon Byrd 324 Hank Blalock" Anyone happen to have one of these? Does anyone care about this as much as I do (really)? I'm not doing any of the insert sets, but I would like to land one of these. PLMK and I'll try to work something out. omplete run. Also found a 1993 TT set in there as well. I suppose there =
could be much better "finds" than these but I'll take it! I still have to=
decide if the Traded Garciaparra is needed for my Red Sox set. But at lea=
st I know I could break one of these instead of shelling out $$$$.

If anyone needs a few 1990 UD high number sets, maybe we can work something=
out. I suppose those aren't even worth the price of postage.

This one's going to be a beast. There are 990 cards in the base
set. When it was first advertised, there were to be no inserts.
That turned out to be a lie. There are three subsets of inserts,
seeded one to a pack. There are also 30 team checklist cards, seeded
one to a pack.

I bought three boxes, 36 packs each, ten cards per pack. However,
the ten cards per pack quickly became eight per pack, once I pulled
the checklists and inserts. So, even after three boxes, and 1,080
cards, I still need 291 cards to finish the set. MERCY!!!!

Here's the list. I also, of course, have a ton of dupes. If anybody
is working on this set and wants to swap, gimme a yell!

WANTLIST
My #237 came out creased, so I'd like to replace it without having to wait

Bagwell, Chavez, and Griffey. How many are in the set?

Thanks for reading!
