I started working on them in 2009 and have since added the 2006-2008 sets to my wantlist. I've made good progress on those, picking up SPs whenever I see them cheap.Still a few commons to grab too, but they'll come along easily. There are, however, several cards which seem to be in shorter supply than others. One of those just came up on ebay - 2008 #315 Jacque Jones, a card which I need not only for my Heritage set but also for my Tigers collection (i.e. Ineed TWO of them!). This is a card that I've rarely seen on ebay or any other site, so of course I dropped in what I thought was a strong bid. Turns out that the Jones seems to be the 1966T Choo Choo Coleman of this set - the card of a mediocre player that demands a ridiculous premium. In the end, the card went for $20.50. Wow! I'm not really sure that I would wnat to spend that much on that particular card. I guess my only hope would be for it to appear as a BIN by someone who undervalues it. Anyone else have any recent cards on their list that are proving tough to find at a decent price? My favorite is a 1990 Studio of Mitch Williams with the mullet, shades and a bandana! Looking at that picture, I can better understand this, from last Sunday: http://deadspin.com/mitch-williams-ejected-from-childs-baseball-game-for-ar- MARK ZENTKOVICH sends over 50 phillies cards too - including the Lenny Dykstra from that same Studio set. Has the mullet, but no bandana (or cigarette) to go with it. But my favorite is the Kellgs Corn Flakes - Unopened wrapped card of Steve Carlton, cant read the back, so I'll have to do some research on the year, could be 82 or 83. He also sent a Fleer retro of A's legend Jimmy Fox. Now that I've been playing around with UV for a little while, I realize that in addition to Phillies, I enjoy some of the 80's and 90's retro-type cards/sets of vintage legends (the Conlon sets being the largest I guess, but UD has a lot too) and might go beyond Phillies for some, and already have. Thanks guys!! And sorry it took a couple weeks to acknowledge. I imagine Heritage will too in years to come.
