Well, after many years as an OBCer, I've finally come over the the dark side - otherwise known as the UV List! My reason for doing so is simply to work on one particular series of card - 2003-2005 Topps Fan Favorites (baseball). I think Topps came up with a winning combination when they blended the old designs with new photos of old players. At the moment, I'm starting this project from scratch although I presently hold high bid on a 2004 set on ebay. Of course, I'm also interested in any inserts or other cards associated with these sets. What do I have to offer in return? Well, I have quite a load of dupes from the 1994-1998 era - including inserts - mostly from Fleer, Topps, Score and Pinnacle. I'm looking at three David Segui cards from my collection, all 1997 Topps Finest "Warriors" cards. All have silver backgrounds, but with different finishes. Am I looking at three different parallels in the 1997 Finest set? 1. Blue "Warriors" logo, smooth surface 2. Rainbow "Warriors" logo, smooth surface 3. Hey everyone, I've been in conversation with a guy from Sims about a 5,000 count box of stuff from their inventory. They had a liquidation sale that ended today, and when I went to look again this evening, it's now just the PSA stuff. They have now removed ALL the ungraded cards from their website. How sad. The guy said they had a lot of good customers from OBC. But anyway, as I was saying, I've been talking with a guy who works for Sims named Craig, and I "put together" a box of right at 5,000 cards, mostly 2004-2007 stuff. I'll detail it below. But he said he would need $250 for the stuff that was in it. I don't know the best way to put this, but would there be anyone interested in splitting the cost with me?
