First up, from George were 3 great 78 Hostess cards, including Elliot Taylor Wills, better known as Bump, as well as the Sarge, albeit in a Braves uniform. And to keep them company were two 1954 Bowman variation cards--The Jim Greengrass (has there EVER been a better last name for an outfielder)?? variation that put Addison back in NJ from NY and the Dave Philley with the 157 games played--what is interesting with that card is that if you look at the 7 of 157, it clearly is a different font--like someone went in and changed it by hand. I love those Bowman variations. Many thanks George. And batting in the #2 position, but equally potent, John Stamper sends 5 early 70's OPC cards, and hiding in the middle, my first OBC hit to the recently added 51 Redback set--Henry Thompson.
