Trading gods irony I suppose for winning one of the Superbowl blocks. Nevertheless, John Stamper and Peter Mead took pity on my pathos and sent me some cards: John's "none-and-done early exit cards" were actually 8 from 69 - one of the high priority sets I'm working on right now, including Dave Johnson and other semi-starrish types. I should hit my year goals for this set by June! Peter sent me 2 fabulous cards! A 1950 Bowman of Phil Athletic Eddie Joost (in nice shape too) and an even nicer 1960 AS high # of Frank Malzone! Great hits gentlemen. Thanks for your pity. I will be searching for return fire asap.. (as well as for the 4 guys I owe cards.) Ray was paying his dues for an Indiana win over NMSt in our NCAA pool. Tonight's game finished me off -- if OSU would have won, I would have taken our office pool for a whopping $70. So I missed out on the Mega Millions and that...what's the chances of losing both?!? Thanks, Ray! Take Care,
