Thanks Ed! Bill Malson sends 19 sharp looking 1974's for my second set but most of them ended up going in my first set as they were in better shape. A traded Horacia Pena was a set killer while Dave Campbell, Ken Singleton, Bill Buckner and Rick Monday highlighted the non-traded cards. Thanks Bill! Erik Greenwood knocks off two more from the 1951 Bowman set. Sandalio Consuegra and Phil Masi puts me at almost 60% complete. I think those Mantle and Mays cards might be a problem though. Thanks Erik! Ken Goetsch sent a box of a couple of hundred unmentionable cards but manages to slip in a 1969 Football stamp of Ed O'Bradovich leaving only Walker from Detroit to finish the seperated stamps set. Thanks Ken! Randy Welk contributes a 1975 World Series card along with four hits for 1976 including Tommy John and a few unmentionables. Thanks Randy! Mark Zentkovich completes his end of a trade a 18 hits for the 1974 set highlighted by a Washington Nate Colbert variation, Billy Williams, and the number 1 card in the set, Hank Aaron. And finally a huge thanks to Kent Goto for killing my last two Phillies needs from '58 and adding 2 Phils each from 64 and 1970 including a possible HoM candidate, Rick Wise (after all, he set up the Phillies late 70's run by being traded for Steve Carlton and then later being traded with other players for Dennis Eckersley). As many OBC'ers know I am a big fan of Jim Brosnan's two books "The Long Season" and "The Pennant Race". Brosnan spends a fair amount of time talking about the players from theGiants (like pitching to Mays) and the Braves, and a lot of other NL players during the 1959-1961 seasons. I read both of Brosnan's books once every year around Spring Training. Great way to remember baseball during the 1950's/1960's, and I usually pull out my Braves and Giants cards and sets when I read the books. Great way to put faces to names. Anyway...this card is much appreciated Joe...and will fit in nicely with my other Giants/Braves cards of the era! Thanks again!! Thanks OBC!!!
