Thanks go out to Mac Wubben for a pair of those little cards that we all know and love -- 1951 Bowmans! For some odd reason, I have a soft spot for the old Bowman cards. Perhaps because they have the TRUE Mickey Mantle rookie, the great artwork, heck -- I honestly really do not know why. Thank youfor thinking of me Mac! They are very much appreciated! Next up, I would like to thank Mike Rumley-Wells. Mike counter fires my contribution to his healing power of cardboard onslaught orchestrated by us a couple of weeks ago. Mike included a very nice card thanking me for my contributions. Please Mike, don't worry about finding any prewar cards for me. I definitely was not expecting any return fire to begin with, and a prewar card I most certainly do not deserve. Thank you for the kind thought however. Prewar cards are most certainly not expected but of course they are always appreciated. Along with the thank you card was an even NICER 1954 Bowman card. This card is so sharp that I am going to have to worry about papercuts! This is no exaggeration either. Mike -- if this is a card that you got rid of because you found an upgrade, I would like to know how it is humanly possible to find a card in better condition then this unless it is autographed. Thank you ever so much for the kind words. Your blessings are verymuch All of my cards, once again, are jumbled up and in helter-skelter order. I seriously need to get them in order and update my want list. If you are worried about sending me a card that I might are the have, keep in mind thatI probably have the easiest want list to hit in our community! This most definitely doesn't persuade me to stop collecting by any means. Please do not get me wrong: this is in no way intended as a hint for anybody to send meanything. The kindness of OBC never ceases to amaze me. You are the family that I have never met but am proud to be a part of. As for the not meeting part -- the next time that the national comes to an area close enough for me to attend I definitely plan on getting to know a lot of you personally. for a few days, but as Saturday night approached, I really got excited. And
as usual, OBC comes through again.

Thanks to RANDY WELK for hitting two uv sets and grabbing hero status for one.
 Thank you Randy!

ROB FITTS allows me to claim a few Fleer offerings. Four hits to my 61 Fleer
set. Thank you Rob!

Thank you to ANDY COOK for a nice three pack from the 76 Kelloggs set. Thethree
included Eric Soderholm, pictured on the Twins, one year prior to joining
the South Side Hit Men. Thank you Andy!

Thank you to BOB REED who sends over 5 hits to my 1978 quest including my all
time favorite, Carlton Fisk. Bob also sends some uv. Thank you Bob!

BRIAN BETZA continues our never ending trade. He sends over a lucky 7 thatincludes
2 hits to my shrinking 1951 Bowman set, three hits to the 49 Bowman
- with two of those being low numbers, a 61 Fleer Nap Lajoe, and a 77 cloth
of Jose Cardenal. Thank you Brian.

And finally, DON RICE absolutely amazes me with a HOF pack of 27 cards. Every
card but one was a HOFer (Steve Garvey the oddball - and he put up somegreat
numbers himself). Don sends over 19 hits to my 78 quest. Names include
record breakers of Brock, Rose, Ryan, Brooksie. Regular cards of McCovey,
Brett, Palmer, Brock, Fisk, Winfield, Jackson, Carew, Stargell, and Schmidt
among others. Don also includes a lucky 7 to the 1960 Fleer set, andone
hit to the 61 Fleer set. Unbelievable. Thank you Don!

Great additions gang. I actually had some time to put these in the binder tonight
and that added to the enjoyment. Thank you!
