What I have learned with ebay is no matter what the problem is it will be reoccurring if buyers don't let each others know there is a problem with a seller. He will relist that card with the same description until someone doesn't return it. If they are truly a honest seller they can afford to get a negative feedback every once in awhile and it won't stop people from bidding on items. If he is dishonest it will get more people to leave negative feedback and it should get him out of business. I left negative feedback a couple weeks ago over 50 cents because he overcharged for shipping. I emailed 3 times trying to get him to put in the right amount but only offered to send me it back after I left the negative feedback if I would change it. I looked at his feedback and a couple others left neative for the same reason before I did. If you allow people to get off the hook just because they give you your money back they are going to doit to everyone and make right for the people who say something and the rest he comes out ahead. selling counterfeits is the same if he has had some sent them back that means some didn't and got took. my 2 cents Rick To: obc-ramblings@yahoogroups.com From: DaPatriot1@aol.com Date: Mon, 6 Sep 2010 05:37:02 -0400 Subject: [OBC-Ramblings] BEWARE of ebay seller...Update/QUESTION Hello all, Yesterday ebay seller TG refunded my, Now my question what should I do about feedback? OK, hands in the air - who knows the next line to that 1970's TV theme song? Answer below... This isn't cardboard-related at all, but after all, this is Ramblings, so I'm taking up some of your valuable time to let you know that I'm actually included in a new book. New York DJ Robin Marshall compiled a bunch of stories from people who've worked in radio, called "Is This Thing On?" It's a collection of DJ nightmares & funny stories. I sent Robin my college-radio story, and there it is, on page 90, right under my name in big bold letters. Here's my "nightmare": Ohio University, senior year. One of my classes is taught by the dean of mycollege (communication). End of the quarter comes around (as they tend to do), and I take the final exam in his class. An hour after taking the final, I'm doing my DJ shift at the college-owned radio station. I'm about 1-2 minutes away from going to live news; my song is backtimed to end exactly atthe top of the hour. I look out of the observation window, and there's my dean, listening, with his son. I wave them into the studio, point out a fewthings. I'm just putting on my headphones, pointing in front of me to the news booth so the dean can see where the excitement will begin. He leans over....and his suit jacket hits the tonearm of hte turntable. The turntable that's on the air. Ever bumped a tonearm? They tend to go flying. So there I am, with dead air to fill, and my dean - who has yet to grade my final exam - who has caused sudden dead air. Obviously I couldn't say anything to him other than "uh...don't worry about it" while I scrambled to run something - anything - to get us to news time. Well, that's the excitement of my story. And the answer to the question at the top of the post? "I'm livin' on the air in Cincinnati; Cincinnati, WKRP." ================= To: Date: Sat, 11 Sep 2010 11:35:34 -0400 From: "Supreme Commander" Subject: Wait until next year!!!! I believe an update is needed to my OBC brethen to explain some recent developments in my life. Hopefully it will not be too long a ramble. For the second time in the past 10 years I have been forced to resign my ITposition for health reasons. The long stressful hours and complexities of my job, particularly at the level I was working, were just too much given my current health. I suffer from 2 chronic medical problems neither of whichis life threatening, but both prevent me from leading a "normal" life. So...as I am currently under treatment for one of my conditions I am in a position once again where I need to try tomake a little income to help pay the family bills until I can get back on my feet again in the regular workplace (and that is going to be tough considering I'm over 50, will probably have to work at a level of IT much less stressful or maybe even change careers, plus the economy is pretty bad rightnow). As such I have decided to sell off a considerable portion of my card collection that I have been working on for over 40 years. These would be cards that I collected as a kid and purchased for my collection, and as an investment, primarily via eBay. I am NOT selling any cards that I have acquired from OBC members. Those cards are part of my permanent collection, and are highly treasured! What I am selling is primarily cards I purchased from eBay such as "lots", "stars", and "high #'s" that were usually in VG or better condition. So as you may have noticed per my web site, I am leasing a booth at the Vermont Antique Mall to sell my best cards. I started doing this 2 weeks before I resigned my job (August 13) and so far I am making a little profit. I have always dreamed aboutowning a small card shop as a business venture and this appears to be as close as I will ever get. When I can do so I enjoy the scenic one hour driveto the antique mall to add cards and magazines to my booth, and it helps keep me occupied while I deal with my health problems. And the little $ I make to help pay family bills doesn't hurt. I am also considering offering a consignment service to any locals that want to sell their cards thru my antique mall booth. We'll see how that goes. Further, I am also about to make live an e-store that I have been working on for about a month. I decided to try to sell some of my cards via this e-store since I can't always get to the antique mall because of my health,AND, because I hope learning e-commerce software development skills will allow me to offer my services to others in my local area, for a fee. Computer security is paramount and I am learning a lot, although it is slow as some days I cannot work due to my illness. Anyway, I was hoping to make my store live this week, but need a volunteer to test a PayPal purchase in my store to make sure it is working correctly before making the store live. I have listed a card (a 63T Jim Coker) in my store for .01 (a penny). I was wondering if someone would be willing to purchase the card via PayPal through my store? I would send you the card, refund your penny and remove your personal info from the store once the test purchase is made (I have set shipping to free for the time being). I will also try to hit your wantlist with much vigor :) The e-store is currently at: http://ahomeplate.com/cart/ It is not a complete project but I'm hoping the PayPal payment module will work now that I have added and configured it. If there is any taker, just try it out and LMK if it works and i will send you the card and check out your Finally, if this request is against any OBAC policy, I apoligise and will find someone else to test my e-store. I am by no means trying to market or sell my cards to OBC members. I am just in a position where I need to help pay bills and due to my current health am trying to find a way to do so thatI have some experience, and I happen to have a healthy collection of cardsI purchased over the years. Plus I need someone to test the PayPal module in my store and none of my family members have a PayPal account. I fully intend to remain an active member of OBC, occasionally hit members wantlists, and will still cherish each and every RAOK. You can email me off-list if you have concerns re: this post. I hope I have not ruffled any feathers. Thank you kindly. That being said, PSA is probably the more "well-known," especially as you get away from pre-war collectors, so it might be worth more for resale. SGC is currently running a special of $6/card if they arevalued under $250. That doesn't include shipping/insurance for the return ride, so the total for my four cards will be about $35 plus what it cost to send, about $7. Randy Boggs, 45, Elberta Occupation: A professional fisherman, Boggs and his wife, Susan, have owned Reel Surprise Charters at San Roc Cay in Orange Beach for 11 years. The Press-Register reported beginning July 21 that Boggs was "scared" the oil spill would kill his business. He had only received three checks, totaling $11,000, as compensation for lost income, which he has estimated at $600,000 since the spill. His boat payments total $12,000 monthly. He said there had been 11 different adjusters under the BP claims process. Outlook: Boggs said an October red snapper season would mean a good month, barring any hurricanes or bad weather. Customers who couldn=E2=99t fish in spring, due to the oil spill, are already calling to book trips, Boggs said. "I think we=E2=99re going to survive this. I=E2=99m certainly not ready to file bankruptcy and quit." Claims process: Boggs said that he has not yet re-filed with Ken Feinberg=E2=99s group. Susan Boggs, who handles the claims applications for the couple, said that she needed to get "some clarity on questions on the application" and planned to file by the end of last week. =90 View full size(Press-Register/Mike Kittrell)Lori Bosarge decorated her yard with signs protesting the BP oil spill. Lori Bosarge, 49, Coden Occupation: Owner of LaBelle Embroidery, a home-based business started in 1989 that has local and national clients. Many of her local clients are involved in boat building or the seafood business. The Press-Register reported beginning July 12 that Bosarge=E2=99s business been off by 20 percent since the spill. Bosarge reported getting her first check from BP in July, more than two months after filing a claim. Outlook: Bosarge said business remains slow. "There hasn=E2=99t been much in it at all," she said. Claims process: Bosarge said that she=E2=99s been waiting since Aug. 25 for check from Ken Feinberg=E2=99s Gulf Coast Claims Facility after being told expect a check within a week. Her husband, Dennis, works for a company thatmakes parts for shrimp boats and has his own business making oyster knives. They believed his check would come from the new process within 48 hours. A claims representative recently called Lori Bosarge to say that the couple=E2=99s are under review."In my opinion, if BP claims officers approved a legitimate claim, then I don=E2=99t see why this Gulf Coast Claims had to go and reinvent it all again, unless there was a red flag," she said. =90 View full sizeChuck Campbell Chuck Campbell, 52, Orange Beach and Birmingham Occupation: Co-owner with wife, Shannon, of Liberty Linen and Janitorial Supply and At Work Uniforms of Orange Beach. The companies have 47 employees. Campbell said he hopes customers outside the Alabama Gulf Coast, such as Mississippi casinos, will help the companies continue until the local economy improves. "We are fortunate in that not all of our business is on the coast. If I was a small business here today, I=E2=99d probably have close the doors." Claims process: The companies have filed claims totaling $150,000 and got one check for $5,000 from BP. Campbell said company officials plan to carry on claims with the Gulf Coast Claims Facility. =90 View full size(Press-Register/Kate Mercer)Daniel Craven Daniel Craven, 53, Gulf Shores Occupation: Attorney. The Press-Register reported beginning June 6 that one of Craven=E2=99s clients had documented $10,000 worth of condominium rental cancellations due to the spill. He teamed with the law firm of Daniell Upton Perry &Morris in Daphne to represent several hundred clients, most of them condominium owners at the Gulf, in filing claims with BP. The attorneys also plan to file lawsuits on behalf of property owners contending loss of value. Outlook: He has seen one restaurant owner at the Gulf and a few individuals receive payments since Ken Feinberg took charge of the $20 billion fund set aside by BP PLC. "But," he added, "if somebody relied on this money to fund operations before the end of the month or pay their mortgage by the end of the month, I think I=E2=99d be seeking alternative solutions." Claims process: "We re-filed for everybody," he said, adding that their clients are seeking compensation for rental losses and lost business, and there are boat owner claims. The Press-Register reported beginning July 6 that Huynh became unemployed when a seafood processing plant shut down after the spill. She was collecting cans and selling eggs to make ends meet. Aided by a translator, she learned of eligibility for $150 in food stamps for one month, but the Alabama Department of Human Resources reportedly dropped her from the program. Outlook: Huynh said through Jimmy Trieu, an interpreter contracted with Boat People SOS, that her food stamps have not been reinstated. She continues to collect aluminum cans for sale, but had not collected any on Tuesday because of illness. She is having difficulty paying her bills, including utilities and medications. Claims process: She has filed two claims and has received two payments of $1,000 each from BP. She said that she has heard nothing from a third claim there. Claims process: De la Parra said that he received $5,000 from BP after filing his initial claim. He said Tuesday that he has since reported about $70,000 in losses but has received no additional benefits. The Press-Register reported on July 26 that Hope=E2=99s Cheesecake had made half the number of cheesecakes in June that it sold the same month in 2009, when the store had readied about 500 a week. Jeanne Donald said that she had to lay off her chief baker and was working 12-hour days. Outlook: "Business is typically slow this time of year," said Bob Donald, since demand for cheesecake and key lime pie typically falls as the tourist season ends. Claims process: "I=E2=99m not unhappy with the process," said Bob Donald. was slow, but we managed to struggle along." Prior to Ken Feinberg=E2=99s Donald said, the business got a series of checks, from May through July, for $5,000, $10,000 and about $25,000. His experience with Feinberg=E2=99s Coast Claims Facility has been a positive one. "If you provide what they ask for," he said, "I haven=E2=99t found them particularly difficult to workwith." The Press-Register reported beginning July 29 that Hardy=E2=99s businesswas 67 percent in Gulf Shores and 54 percent in Orange Beach. Hardy said they dealt with five separate BP claims managers and mailed a total of 9.5 pounds of paperwork. Outlook: Hardy said he is negotiating with the landlord to close the Gulf Shores location at Pelican Point. Claims process: Hardy said early on that the store at The Wharf in Orange Beach had lost between $500,000 and $750,000, and his only compensation had been one check for $5,000. He is now seeking reimbursement from the Gulf Coast Claims Facility. "From April 20 through yesterday, we have lost three times more business during the oil spill than we did last year during the great recession," Hardy said Tuesday. "Now I=E2=99m losing vendors because of past-due accounts, and even if I got money, I won=E2=99t get back some of them." =90 Sheila Hodges Sheila Hodges, "Baby Boomer," of Foley Occupation: Hodges became full owner of Meyer Real Estate in the mid-1990s. The Press-Register reported beginning July 4 that Hodges was among property managers who teamed up to tackle the BP oil spill claims process as vacation rental cancellations mounted. By mid-August, her firm had receivedonly about half what it requested from BP. Outlook: Business is "trending upward enough to give all of us some optimism," Hodges said. "Labor Day was a great crowd, and there=E2=99s been a good crowd since then." Vacation renters have responded well to incentives, such as rate discounts and free concerts at the beach, she said. There are still questions about what rates customers will be willing to pay next year, she said. Claims process: Hodges said last week that she was working on a claim under the new Feinberg-led process. "I guess it=E2=99s frustrating to kind of start over with somebody else," Hodges said. "I thought he was going to come in and pick up the file and go from there, and instead, he=E2=99s recreating the She said BP had promised to pay the remaining half of lost summer revenue, which helps pay for costs in the slower seasons. But it=E2=99s unclear whether that assurance will be fulfilled under Feinberg, she said. Patti Link, 50, Orange Beach Occupation: General manager of San Roc Cay, a 55-slip marina, retail and charter fishing business, and Bear Point Marina, which has 75 slips. The Press-Register reported beginning June 20 that the city closed San Roc Cay=E2=99s marina when the spill hit, and tourists were scarce at the shopping center that was almost fully leased with 16 stores and four restaurants. The spill stopped summer shopping and shut down the charter boat business. Link said some tenants got checks from BP, but none over $5,000, and some of the charter boat captains worked for BP in oil spill cleanup. Outlook: "There=E2=99s not much business; it=E2=99s the off season," she said. Gulf Shores and Orange Beach Tourism is putting a lot of money in promoting the area, she said, and that will help a great deal. "We=E2=99re going to have beach concerts in October, and we are doing events every weekend at San Roc Cay," including charter fishing, she said. "We=E2=99re hoping the peoplewho not to come this summer will come now. We had a really good Labor Day." San Roc Cay has not lost any tenants since the oil spill, she said. "If they have half a brain, they want to stay here," she said. "In fact, I have people calling me wanting to move here." Claims process: Owners of the development did not file a claim with BP but have filed for loss of income under the new process, she said. The Press-Register reported beginning July 11 that Nist had not received a check from BP for lost rental income from two condos he and his wife own. He debated with BP over the amount of the only check received for his vacation rental management business. Nist filed his BP claim in April, the first Monday after the Deepwater Horizon oil rig exploded. Outlook: "The good news is we seem to be getting back to our business," Nist said last week. "People are coming back." He said the upcoming Bon Jovi and Brad Paisley concerts, Thunder on the Gulf powerboat racing and Shrimp Festival are going to be "a nice shot in the arm." Nist said it=E2=99s too late to save June, July and August, but he=E2=99s optimistic for next year. Claims process: Nist continues to wait for checks. The new process has been "exasperating." Nist said he called the first day Feinberg took over and was told by a representative his claim could not be found in the computer system. "You could almost see the deer in the headlights," said Nist. "It was like they grabbed people off the street and put them in the phone bank" and told them to "play dumb." He said that a claims adjuster advised that he go online to find his claim, but the website didn=E2=99t recognize his nameor original BP claim number. After weeks of repeated calls inquiring about thestatus of his claim, Nist said he was recently told his claim and paperwork were found. Nist said his claim remains under review. BP paid him $10,400 for lost May income, but he heard nothing else after filing for another $55,000 or so for the summer. Outlook: On Wednesday, with his equipment in storage, Quinn swept the floor of his empty work shed, shut the doors for good and headed to Tampa, Fla., to take on contract work in boat repair. "It was either stay in the building and face eviction," he said, "or get out. I wouldn=E2=99t say we=E2=99re closed. I=E2=99d say we=E2=99re homeless." Claims process: Quinn said that he believes he would have gotten payments for July and August if BP had gone ahead with its claims process. "It would have been approximately $63,000, which would have been enough to have kept us in business here," he said. "Whenever Feinberg took over, we were told, they stopped all the payments. It got to the point where BP wouldn=E2=99t talk to us anymore." The new process, Quinn said, "tells us any day, any day, we=E2=99ll have our claims paid." But he had yet to receive anything beyond the initial $10,400. The Press-Register reported beginning June 20 that Spence and business partner, David Cahoon, canceled plans to open a Shrimp Basket in Mobile given the uncertainty created by the oil spill. After the spill was capped, they decided to open in October on Old Shell Road. Claims were filed with BP forthe restaurants, and checks for May and partial payments for June and July helped cash flow. Revenue at the five beach restaurants was down 25 to 35 percent in June, compared to the same period in 2009. Outlook: "It=E2=99s really tough, and we=E2=99re coming into the winter with no reserve," Spence said. "Business is off considerably, but it=E2=99s not like closing. We did have a good Labor Day." October should be good, he said. "But we need some relief before then." Claims process: In-house accountants worked with Bert Sanders, a Gulf Shores accountant, to re-file all claims with the Feinberg-led process. Spence=E2=99s new claims were sent Sept. 13. He seeks six months=E2=99 compensation for mini golf center and all of the restaurants except the one in Bay Minette. Sanders told him it should take at least a month to receive any payments. The Press-Register reported beginning May 23 that Thierry mourned the loss of time spent fishing and said that the uncertainty surrounding the oil spill was making it hard to talk to his son, Skipper Thierry, who grew up on dad=E2=99s boats and is a licensed charter captain. Outlook: Prospects remain uncertain. Thierry and his son have collectively booked 15 trips for the fall red snapper season, expected to open on weekends beginning Oct. 1. "We=E2=99re getting a few more phone calls every day," Mike Thierry said, "but some people are still uneasy about the fish, whether to eat them or not, and the uncertainty of the long-term effects of the oil and dispersants. Some people are saying they=E2=99re fine and that the government=E2=99s tested them, but for some people, it=E2=99s just human nature to be cautious, I can=E2=99t begrudge them that." Claims process: Thierry was hired May 5 by BP for its Vessels of Opportunity program, which put boat owners to work in spill cleanup. He was deactivated in early August, then re-hired later that month to work two weeks in a U.S. Coast Guard effort to detect oil in the water column. He now waits for his boat to undergo mandatory decontamination. His wife, Ann Thierry, who has handled claims applications, said the business received two $5,000 emergency checks and four other smaller loss-of-income checks. Payouts were adjusted to factor the money Thierry made working for BP. She said that since re-filing the claim with Feinberg nearly six weeks ago, she has not heard from a claims processor. He worried about how he=E2=99d keep his business running and pay off the $300,000 owed on his boat, plus support a family that includes a 3-year-old son with cerebral palsy. Waller said that a monthly check from BP was enough to pay the boat note and cover insurance and his slip fee. But on Aug. 27, BP terminated the contract that had paid him $2,000 a day for use of his boat plus another $200-$300 for a day=E2=99s work. Outlook: He=E2=99s missing the BP paycheck and feeling the pinch. "Nobody=E2=99s called," Waller said. Most of his clients hunt and watch football, so he=E2=99s optimistic that his boat will be in much demand this fall. I wokeup this morning to find that I'd picked it up for less than $50 delivered. Wow!! thought I was going to have to fork out upwards of double that eventually. I've done some significant damage to that 1961T list recently, getting itdown to 34 to go once those in transit arrive. [3 Attachments] [Attachment(s) from Bob Reed included below] My son Connor has a new hobby, actually two of them. This summer he started sending cards out to players for autographs. Eventually that turned intosending home made cards and index cards to prospects. He started talking to Lance McCullers Jr., a Florida high schooler than will probably be the number one overall pick in 2012 and is the son of a former big leaguer. Connor drew a few pictures for Lance and posted it on Facebook. La nce loved them and asked if he could send the originals for him to keep and copies tosign and return. Well, that started his second hobby, drawing and brings me to the purpose of this mess age on his behalf. He is trying to get as many 1989 Topps cards autographed as he can. He is willing to draw a picture of a player to trade for some autographed cards, perferably 1989 cards or current players but will consider other players orpostage stamps so he can mail autograph requests out to players. I've attached 3 of his drawings (Jeff Bagwell, Lance McCullers, and Mike Piazza) along with links to the original pictures for Bagwell and Piazza. http://assets.nydailynews.com/img/2008/05/21/amd_piazza1.jpg http://i2.cdn.turner.com/si/2010/baseball/mlb/07/29/deadline.deal.sins/jeff-bagwell-iacono2.jpg If interested get back to me and I'll let him know. I see that mlb.com is now linking to iTunes for their Baseball's Best archive, including some vintage full-game broadcasts of the 1952, 1965, etc. WS games for $1.99 ea. But one thing I don't understand. Per the quote below from an article link about the1960 WS Bing Crosby game find, quote: "MLB has every postseason game since 1981 in its archives, several from the1970s and all seven games from the 1965, '68 and '69 World Series, says David Gavant, vice president of MLB Productions. (The three 1960s Series are kinescopes, except for Games 3-5 of 1969, which are on color tape. The later copies are color tape.)" I'm interested in all 7 games of the 1965 and maybe 1968 & 1969 WS, but I only see a few of those games on iTunes. MLB.com used to have ALL these games (I believe) available for streaming, but I no longer see them. Does anyone know where you can purchase say the other (6) games of the 1965 WS (iTunes only has game 7 right now)? My favorite card now is the 1967T #540 Norm Cash - a fantastic, sharp, clear photo of my boyhood hero from a set well known for its clean, crisp design. However, if I were to turn back the clock some - oh, let's say a bit more than 40 years - the 1969 version of Stormin' Norman would top my list. Why? Well, as I said before, Cash was my big hero and for whatever reason I just couldn't pull card #80 from a pack. By the time Series 2 hit the stores, all my buddies had multiples, but I didn't have a single example. And because Norm Cash was such a popular player in Detroit, no one was giving theirs away. It wasn't until 1971 that one of my friends (Ed Scherbarth - I still remember his name!!) finally took pity on me and passed one my way. I treasured that card, and it still remains one of my favorites. If I were to look beyond my hometown Tigers though, my favorite cards would be 3 that I don't even own - and only one of which I've ever seen in real life! The one I've seen is the 1967T #600 Brooks Robinson. A great photo of a terrific ballplayer. The other 2 are from the same set - the 1953B Color. I think the Musial and Reese cards from that set are absolutely spectacular. Its not a set I'm working on, but I'd love to add those 2 cards to my collection one day. Around the same time I discovered girls and well, at that age the cards took a back seat, or the closet anyway. Interesting, that's where some of the girls wound up as well. I have since figured out that cards come before the opposite sex. My card is 1977 Rawley Eastwick # 45, the Big Red Machines "Closer." Yeah, in 1975 he led the league in saves with...get this 22! I acquired this card back in 1986 when I was six years of age. My best friend's neighbor would trade us the "old cards" (28 years old at the time) that his uncle sent to him in order to try to get him to collect the finer cards in life. He preferred the junk wax commons of the Dodgers. I acquired approximately 6 cards from this trader, all poor conditioned Topps cards from 1959 to 1965. I enjoyed the John Romano more than any of the others because it was the oldest out of the bunch and it had so much eye appeal -- you know how the 1959 rookie stars pop out at you. John Romano looked like a tough, tough man in this card. I would not want to get on his bad side, which look easy enough to do. This card was in the poorest of poor shape. It had definitely seen its days of being flipped. I have not seen a card with rounder corners than this card. I ended up trading it with somebody in OBC -- a decision that I wish I hadn't made. If you do not mind, could you check your 1959 folders and boxes for card 138 and see if the corners aren't corners anymore? If so, I would gladly send you a better condition card as well as a couple of hits off of your want list in order to obtain that card from my childhood back. And to think, the cards that came out in my childhood collecting days were from 1986 onwards. Granted, there were good players, but the sets looked like crap. That, as well as the overproduction that we all know and hate. I will close with one last desperate plea: please, please check your 1959 sets for card number 138, see if it is in despicable condition, and do me a huge favor by trading in for one in much better shape plus a few extras. Thank you very much for the trip down memory lane. George also updated some dealer information and passed the info to me for updating/revamping the Dealer page. I am sorry for the delay in updating this page - I am more than half way through - but should get this completed in the next few weeks. Around late June, I developed a chronic cough which was a direct result of a continued chemical exposure at work, and I have been struggling daily since then with my activities at work and home. Earlier this month, Richard Dingman mentioned to me he met Keith MacKey, a dealer at the Baltimore National, who expressed interest in joining the OBCDealers. If anyone had any interaction with Keith and would like to add their recommendation, please comment to the Ramblings server. Here is the excerpt on the dealer requirements from the ROC: For a dealer to be listed on the =93OBC Friendly Dealer=94 section of the OBC web site requires a recommendation of 5 different OBC members. Any OBC member can petition the OBCAC with the name of an "OBC Friendly Dealer" accompanied by at least 4 additional recommendations for that dealer from the membership. The OBCAC will then decide on the inclusion of the recommended dealer. "OBC Friendly Dealers" can be removed from the list; if an OBC member complains to the OBCAC about a dealer listed, the OBCAC will approach the membership to gather enough information to either retain or remove said dealer Thanks and best of health to everyone,
