Almost 1/3 of the set, but what a third! Thestarter includes Robertson, Bradley, Haywood RC, Reed, Havlicek, Cowens RC, West, Maravich, Lanier RC, Frazier, Chamberlain, Wilkens, Tomjanovich RC,Alcindor(Jabbar), Hawkins, DeBusschere, Hayes, Goodrich, Monroe, Barry RC,Scott, Silas, Murphy, White, Lucas, Unseld, and a few other stars. Almost all the big names/cards from this set except for: Baylor, Archibald RC, Brown RC, and Issel RC, which are not here. There also are NO Playoff or League Leader cards. Other than those, ALL the big names are here! Why get a starter of commons when you can get a starter of stars? As to condition? The cards are technically OBC condition cards due to someone writing numbers on the back, usually within the cartoon. If not for the numbers, most of these cards would easily be in EXMT to NM condition (actually, there are about a dozen cards that don't have writing on them but 3-4 of those are a little lesser condition). Check the attached scans to get anidea of the big cards and also for a sample of the back. Sans the numbers, these cards are CLEAN with no creasing! Offering here first, at OBC price of $75 (shipping included). If interestedat all, let me know. ================= To: "OBC-DealerScum@yahoogroups.com" Date: Wed, 17 Feb 2016 01:25:19 +0000 Subject: Re: [OBC-DealerScum] 1971-72 Topps Basketball starter lot (79 cards) From: Taylor Schock GONE! - I guess the price was right. From: Ken M None of these are EX or better. Trouble using a big pair of scissors with little hands seems to be the recurring theme, but there's a few HOF'ers in the lot including Palmer, Reggie, Yaz, Munson, Bench, Carter, Hunter, Ryan and Fingers. The Reggie has writing on the back and the Ryan is missing a corner and has some paper loss on the back (along the edge where the years are listed). The rest have the usual wear and tear you've come to expect in OBC. Decent OBC condition averages G-VG with a few Poor (but no beaters)and a few that might approach EX. Not much writing, no major trims, a few have glue on the back. Spans #4 to #404 including two "tough mid" series cards. A little light on star power but does include 38 Fox, 40 Wynn and 250 Matthews plus a team card or two. $90 + $2.75 shipping. Will also consider fair trade offers consisting of 10 or fewer cards. --Jake Elwell ================= To: "OBC-DealerScum@yahoogroups.com" Date: Tue, 23 Feb 2016 21:15:20 +0000 Subject: 60 different 1968 Topps (EXMT) - $40 delivered From: Taylor Schock Not the most OBC appropriate offering, but I'd toss it out here before I move it to other venues.
