I picked up a large starter lot of 1966 Topps baseball a couple months backand finally have had time to go through these. So I thought I would offer this up to the group first before they head elsewhere. I swapped out or pulled a few cards I needed (mostly non-stars), and added some from my dupes box as well. There is some pretty good stuff here. Looking to get rid of these as one starter lot with asking price at the bottom. Trades considered for hits to my want list. The breakdown for the cards are as follows: 382 cards total, including all the stars below. (don't sue me if my count is off by a card or two) 330 cards (not individually listed) are commons, minors, team cards (most TCs are NOT EX), or marked checklists. There is nothing higher than #446 (sad news). There are some major stars here (happy news). For the commons: About 20% GD (with a few a little less, but no real nasty cards here, otherthan the Mays). About 45% in the VG-VGEX range. About 35% in the EX to EX+ range with a few a little better. Approximately 10,500+ cards total. One 5,000 count super monster box completely filled in all penny sleeves (so maybe 4,000 cards??). Another 5,000 count box not nearly as full with some in penny sleeves (about another 4,000 cards.) Then another 3,200 count box with vintage starter sets. Lots in pennysleeves and nearly full (2,500+?) Mostly low to mid grade lot, but should be VG or better in most cases. Commons and semi-stars mostly, but some high #s, league leaders, and checklists. I can try and paint a better picture for you if you'd like to PM me. Approximate numbers:1957 to 1960 25 1961 1,000 1962 to 1968 60 1969 4,000 (a few high #s and LLs included) 1970 200 1971 10 1972 500 1973 550 (several high #s) 1975 100 1976 75 1977 100 1978 150 1979 3,500 (includes some oddballs and OPC, but mostly regular Topps) Great lot to start a Topps run for sure! Or sell off smaller lots! Looking for only $0.20 per card....so $2,100 delivered gets the cards......PLUS, I will throw in a complete 1978 Topps set, all of my extra '62T greenies, and a few other surprise goodies! If you're wanting smaller lots, perhaps from 1961 and 1969 only, I'll come up to $0.35 per card. Both of these years are decent. Not much trash in it at all! Should mostly be VG or better, and some as nice as EX or EXMT. So essentially, you could get a '69T 300 count starter for $105. I AM NOT PULLING SINGLES OUT AT THIS TIME! :) Large starter sets or the entire lot only. I think this would be a nice Topps starter kit for someone. Or an upgrade lot for someone or tons of trade bait (or RAOKs to give.) Whatever you want! WHY WOULD I DO THIS? Well a couple reasons! First, I have another large collection of cards coming in, and I'd like to clear some space. This means more RAOKs for you! ;) More cards traveling through OBC is a good thing, right?! Plus, my oldest daughter just got braces this past week and the money HAS to come from somewhere. We have enough to pay for them (no pity party expected here), but I thought it'dbe nice to surprise my wife by paying for it with card money. After all, she's the one that "allows" me to spend on this hobby as it is! LOL I'll let this go for a couple days, but if I don't generate interest by theweekend, I'll be puttingstuff on EvilBay.
