You have until December 1 to send your $10 payment using PayPal to treasurer@oldbaseball.com or mail a check or money order (payable to Bob Donaldson) to Bob Donaldson. Joe Isaac From: jwi62@hotmail.com To: obc-announcements@yahoogroups.com Subject: October monthly Date: Sun, 28 Oct 2012 22:06:02 -0400 Good evening OBCer's, Last month, the AC decided to have the membership determine the logo on thehome page. The voting turnout was low, but the majority vote was to use anew logo designed by Tom Housley. The new logo will be on the site withinthe Another topic discussed was the Membership dues. Many of you may not be aware of the Membership Dues since they haven=92t been collected since 2002. Every year since 2002, the AC has waived the membership fee since the treasury sufficient funds to pay expenses for the web hosting. Now our treasury is low and the AC decided to collect dues at $10 per member, both active and inactive, due by December 1. Here is the Dues section from the Rules of Conduct (ROC) =96 previously in the FAQ section (note the section in bold): To cover the expense of our website hosting and domain name, the active and inactive members will be periodically billed a modest amount for dues not to exceed $10, payable December 1st. The OBCAC facilitator (non-voting member) will notify the OBC membership prior to thedue date, and advise the membership where to send payment. Any member who cannot afford this payment must notify an OBCAC member and dues payment shall be waived. Failure to pay dues or notify an OBCAC member of a financial hardship will result in removal from OBC Membership. If person is admitted into OBC after December 1st, his/her first dues payment will be the same as the other members, the following December 1st. To make you payment, you have 2 Use PayPal and send payment to treasurer@oldbaseball.com. Make sure to use the gift fee so thetreasury does not absorb the PayPal fees. To do this, under the Send Money tab, click the Personal tab above the continue button and choose the Gift radio button. Pay by check or money order payable to Bob Donaldson. The dues collection will also serve as the annual membership poll. If you choose to be moved to the Inactive status, please email George directlyby 1. Note that ALL members, both active AND inactive are required paying membership dues. Remember, if you want the AC to consider a topic, send a message to the Ramblings server, contact any member of the AC or email me. Your AC members are Glenn Codere, Tom Housley, Ken Morganti, TJ Valacak, George Vrechek, Geno Wagner and Mac Wubben.
