Great stuff, thanks Gary!! ================= Date: Thu, 08 Nov 2001 17:51:01 -0500 To: obc-announcements@yahoogroups.com Subject: OBC POCs - IMPORTANT! From: Dan Austin I've received a lot of e-mails in the last week or two that indicated that people were not sure who was in charge of what function in OBC. Please take a moment and refer to the following page: http://www.oldbaseball.com/contacts.html On this page, accessible from the "contact us" button on the main OBC page, you will find the most current listing of OBC POCs for various functions. If you ever need to know, this is the place to look... You will notice there that I am still the webmaster. You may also note (if you have sent me an e-mail recently) that I may be a bit slow to answer e-mails these days. As I warned a while back, I am teaching an HTML class at a local community college this semester and the added time demands have made my free time almost non-existant. Luckily, there is only about 5 more weeks left in the course, and after the holidays, I should become much more responsive to website-type requests (updates, wantlist probs, etc.), and will start doing some additional updates to the site content. Please bear with me during this time! Dan Austin - dan@iamdanaustin.com Visit me at http://iamdanaustin.com "How far that little candle throws his beams! Dues may be paid by paypal to treasurer@oldbaseball.com or mailed to Doug Smith, treasurer, 2306 Woodmoor Lane, Colleyville, Texas 76034. Any member who cannot afford this payment must notify an OBCAC member and dues payment shall be waived. Failure to pay dues or notify an OBCAC member of a financial hardship will result in removal from OBC membership. But it appears that the dues are coming in slow, and they're due (that's why they're called "dues") by December 1, which is a week from today. Treasurer Doug Smith reports that only about 51 of 127 members have paid up - and as soon as I pay, that will increase to 52. Here's the information I mailed out a few weeks ago. Dues aren't that much, and they contribute heavily toward the cost of maintaining our website. If there's any difficulty you're experiencing that make the dues a financial hardship, just let me or any of the other OBCAC members know about it and we'll accommodate you. Details follow... ========================================== To cover the expense of our website hosting and domain name, dues are set at ten dollars per year payable December 1st.
